Responsibilities
- Support Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and other production-related software platforms.
- Develop, test, and implement software solutions used within manufacturing operations.
- Troubleshoot system issues and identify root causes to improve uptime and reliability.
- Aid in modifications and enhancements to support production changes and new model launches.
- Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement automation and control system improvements.
- Analyze system performance and identify opportunities for process optimization.
- Support the installation and integration of new or modified manufacturing systems.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), PLC programming, and/or software development within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Microsoft .NET (C#), Visual Basic, and SQL.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming and software development principles.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to gather requirements and develop technical solutions that meet business needs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Desired
- Experience with GE Cimplicity.
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) platforms.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
- Automotive manufacturing experience.
- Experience supporting factory automation or industrial control systems.
- Exposure to manufacturing automation, process controls, or plant-floor systems.
- Experience working with system integrations and continuous improvement initiatives.
