Systems Engineer 1

Responsibilities

• Analyzes user requirements, concepts of operations, and high-level system architectures to develop detailed system requirements specifications.
• Leads system design and development activities, guiding stakeholders in refining requirements, evaluating alternatives, and conducting feasibility studies.
• Provides technical leadership across the integration of requirements, design, and technology, ensuring new systems and enhancements are effectively incorporated into ongoing operations.
• Develops system architecture and design documentation.
• Supports implementation planning through the creation of system engineering management plans and integration and test strategies.
• Regularly collaborates with government stakeholders to address technical considerations, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with mission objectives, while maintaining overall accountability for the technical integrity of deliverables and effective communication with program teams and senior leadership.

Requirements

• Strong Linux skills/experience
• Experience working with VMWare
• Desired Experience: Nifi, Centrify, Windows Active Directory, Arista, Omnissa, Horizon View, Storage arrays, McAfee/Trellix

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED and 12+ years of experience with system engineering
• Bachelor's degree in a Technology field and 7+ years of experience with system engineering

Skills

• US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
