About the role
BAE Systems is seeking a team contributor in the field of Electronic Warfare (EW) systems to join a growing dynamic group of engineers developing leading-edge capabilities in Active and Passive Sensing. You will be a technical member of the Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA) Systems Engineering Group, responsible for supporting the design, development, integration, implementation, test, and verification/validation of EW systems across multiple business areas.
This role requires full-time, on-site work due to the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and the nature of the work. You will support technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation; evaluate alternatives including cost, risk, and supportability; and perform analyses for total systems at all levels, from concept to disposal. You will ensure the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total system solutions and translate customer requirements into hardware/software specifications.
Responsibilities
- Support proposal development activities, including proposal text development, cost estimating, and presentation activities.
- Perform one or more of the following systems engineering functions:
- Review, develop, and document system-level operational concepts.
- Review and evaluate system designs.
- Review and analyze algorithms.
- Review test procedures and other reports.
- Support system-level integration and test of RF EW systems.
- Verify and validate system designs to ensure conformance with functional specifications and customer requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Some knowledge of systems engineering.
- Security clearance.
- Hardware background.
Pay
Full-Time Salary Range: $79,365 – $134,921. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.
