About the role
As a Systems Administrator Senior, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of a SOCOM customer. You will play a crucial role in ensuring deployable / remote kits are correctly configured. A fully competent hardware administrator will implement, install, configure, operate, maintain, update, and assist in management of distributed computing service operations processes and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Image, install/load, test, and configure images on various Configuration Items (PCs, Laptops, etc.)
- Support desktop imaging and configuration item installation and maintenance
- Maintain system documentation and current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned
- Control, disseminate and monitor ticket queues and facilitate resolution of tickets
- Ensure timely receipt, acquisition, identification, documentation, maintenance, inventory, movement, and storage of property
- Ensure proper disposition of obsolete and excess assets
- Participate in the taking of physical inventories, and provide a quarterly inventory report
Qualifications
- Associates Degree or higher preferred
- 3+ years of related experience
- DoD 8570 IAT level II required
- MCSA: Windows 10 or equivalent certification/experience required
- ITIL v4 Foundation certification preferred
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating system's architecture
- Knowledge of server virtualization
- Familiarity with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
- Experience with configuration and management of Android and iOS operating systems
- Experience configuring, managing, and maintaining Windows client operating systems
- Security clearance level: TS/SCI required to start
- US citizenship required

Pay
The likely salary range for this position is $57,824 - $74,750.
Schedule
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40. Travel Required: 10-25%. Telecommuting Options: Onsite. Work Location: USA NC Fort Bragg.
