The role is for a Computer Systems Administrator supporting the 350th Spectrum Warfare Wing (350 SWW) at Eglin AFB, Florida. The 350 SWW is the technical focal point for all electronic warfare (EW) support of warfighter systems for the Combat Air Forces (CAF), developing and testing mission data to defeat enemy radar and infrared guided missile systems, enhancing aircrew and aircraft survivability. This mission includes operational EW testing, mission data development/validation/verification, force development evaluation execution, and facilitating foreign materiel exploitation. The position is located at Eglin AFB, FL, with travel expected 5‑10% and no relocation assistance. The position is not contingent upon award of contract.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive IT support for client systems in a collateral and Special Access Program (SAP) environment.
- Resolves IT support requests from employees, answering and troubleshooting client computer system issues on DoW networks.
- Communicates with employees on the status of service requests, updating IT trouble tickets and documenting resolutions as needed.
- Possesses strong technical knowledge of DoW enterprise networks and client computing solutions.
- Diagnoses and resolves end-user computer issues by gathering and analyzing data to identify the root cause.
- Acts as a front-end SharePoint Site Designer / Power User to manage and support
