Description
Translate business needs into clear technical requirements, user stories, and functional specs. Use gathered requirements to propose and design modern, maintainable, secure, and scalable solutions that meet or reimagine the business need. Work closely with architects, developers, and testers to ensure solutions are feasible and align with existing systems. Analyze data using SQL, Excel, or BI tools to validate assumptions and identify automation or optimization opportunities. Create BRDs, FRDs, process flows, and act as the point of contact between stakeholders and technical teams. Support SIT/UAT, write test cases, and ensure the delivered solution meets business goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead requirement gathering and analysis, translating business needs into technical requirements and user stories.
- Design modern, maintainable, secure, and scalable system solutions based on gathered requirements.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and testers to ensure solution feasibility and alignment with existing systems.
- Perform data and process analysis using SQL, Excel, or BI tools to identify automation or optimization opportunities.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including BRDs, FRDs, and process flows.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and technical teams.
- Support system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT), including writing test cases.
- Analyze, normalize, and transform legacy databases (e.g., MS Access) into enterprise-level relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
- Act as a technical liaison between business stakeholders, software vendors, and application developers.
- Use system modeling and design tools (e.g., MS Visio, UML, ERD tools) to map data structures and system workflows.
- Develop and implement multi-tier .Net Framework and .Net Core web applications using C# with ASP.Net patterns (Web Forms and MVC).
Qualifications
- 84 months of experience with internal and external stakeholder communications and outreach, including developing presentations and materials that promote rethinking core business processes and envisioning a reengineered environment.
- 84 months of experience as the Lead Business Analyst on projects using recognized business process management methodologies (e.g., elicitation and documenting of business process requirements, business process modeling, As-Is and To-Be workflow development, gap analysis, UML).
- 84 months of experience as the lead Analyst on Business Requirements Projects, applying strategies to gather and document business process requirements for new applications.
- 60 months of experience analyzing, normalizing, and transforming legacy databases (specifically MS Access) into enterprise-level relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
- 60 months of experience acting as a technical liaison between business stakeholders, software vendors, and application developers.
- 48 months of experience using system modeling and design tools (e.g., MS Visio, UML, ERD tools) to map data structures and system workflows.
- 48 months of experience developing and implementing multi-tier .Net Framework and .Net Core web applications using C# with ASP.Net patterns (Web Forms and MVC).
- Master’s Degree in a computer or technology-related field.
- Valid (active) IIBA CBAP certification or PMI PBA certification.
