About the role

Systems Analyst 3 position responsible for planning, executing, and accomplishing project goals with minimal supervision, leveraging 8+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business needs by understanding objectives, identifying problems, and proposing alternative solutions, including performing cost/benefit analyses.
• Gather and document user requirements through direct engagement with stakeholders, analyzing current procedures and system capabilities.
• Develop detailed documentation of user needs, program functions, and the steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
• Assess system capabilities and constraints to determine feasibility of requested changes or new program implementations.
• Lead implementation efforts for PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2, particularly in Accounts Receivable and Billing modules, including requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and data mapping to legacy and third-party systems.
• Conduct hands-on system integration testing with third-party interfaces to ensure end-to-end functionality.
• Create and maintain project documentation and support training initiatives for users and project team members.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, collaborating with large, remote teams.
• Support other project tasks as needed, adapting to off-hours or hybrid work arrangements as project phases require.
• Utilize Microsoft O365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), MS Teams, and preferred tools such as SharePoint, Jira, and STAT.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience with public sector organizations.
• Preferred experience with the Texas Comptroller CAPPS Financials system.
• Preferred experience with PeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE).
• Preferred experience with Scrum methodology.
