Systems Administrators - LEVEL 03 - FULLY CLEARED with POLYGRAPH with Security Clearance

About the role

Constellation Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Systems Administrator at Level 03 with a fully cleared background, including a polygraph. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university, or five years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in engineering systems over their lifecycle, including conception, design & development, testing, production, distribution/deployment, operation, maintenance & support, decommissioning.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
• Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems
• Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
• Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning
• Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems
• Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets
• Support the dispatch system and hardware problems and remain involved in the resolution process
• Configure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems
• Support the design of systems, mission architecture and associated hardware
• Possess a working knowledge and understanding of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
• Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications and software integration

Requirements

Must have a TS/SCI clearance with an active polygraph. Relevant experience must be in engineering systems over their lifecycle, such as conception, design & development, testing, production, distribution/deployment, operation, maintenance & support, decommissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university
• Five years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
• Level 03 - Fifteen years of experience as an SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Infrastructure experience installing, configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and using system security (container security, virtual machine security, security boundary enforcement), configuration, and reporting tools
• Experience with ELK, Tripwire, VMware, RedHat SELinux security tool suite
