Systems Administrator - Level 03 - FULLY CLEARED with POLYGRAPH REQUIRED
About the role
Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.
Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
Provides Tier I (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.
Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problem and remains involved in the resolution process.
Responsibilities
- Configures and manages UN1X and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
- Sets up and maintains server environments, including virtualization platforms.
- Supports the deployment and maintenance of Cisco routers and switches in support of enterprise systems for the program.
- Monitors and maintains network infrastructure, including firewalls, load balancers, and other security devices.
- Supports the implementation and maintenance of cloud-based services and solutions.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of IT systems.
Requirements
- Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph.
- Level 03 requires fifteen (15) years of direct/relevant experience.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Five (05) years of additional Systems Administration experience on projects with similar processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- Experience with AWS, Linux, Windows, UNIX, RHEL, Kali, Solaris, Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian, Fedora, Mandriva is preferred.
