About the Opportunity

The Systems Administrator, I/II/Engineer role supports enterprise endpoint systems management. The position is responsible for administering and enhancing platforms and processes related to operating system deployment, application packaging, patch management, vulnerability remediation, endpoint configuration, and device lifecycle support. This role contributes to maintaining secure and efficient endpoint infrastructure, ensuring operational stability and security compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and support endpoint management platforms including MECM, Intune, Jamf Pro, PatchMyPC, and related tools.
  • Plan, test, package, deploy, and monitor operating system and application updates with minimal business disruption.
  • Manage Windows and macOS endpoint lifecycle, including deployment, imaging, configuration, software deployment, inventory, and troubleshooting.
  • Develop and maintain endpoint configuration standards, secure baselines, compliance policies, and remediation processes.
  • Troubleshoot client health, deployment failures, software update issues, and platform-related problems.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, service desk, and business teams to remediate vulnerabilities and improve security and service delivery.
  • Utilize scripting, reporting, documentation, and process automation to enhance reliability and efficiency.
  • Perform additional tasks and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
  • Experience providing technical support for hardware, operating systems, security systems, and IT infrastructure:
    • Systems Administrator I: minimum two years.
    • Systems Administrator II: minimum four years.
    • Systems Engineer: minimum six years.
  • Experience troubleshooting MECM/SCCM client logs.
  • Proficiency with PowerShell or other scripting languages.
  • Knowledge of vulnerability management and OS/application hardening.
  • Experience with MECM, Intune, Co-management, Windows Autopilot, and software patching.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Commitment to cybersecurity measures.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States; no sponsorships provided.
  • Location flexibility: primarily based in Bismarck, ND, with possible remote work within authorized US regions.
  • May require a valid driver's license.

Pay Range and Compensation Package

  • Systems Administrator I: $63,860 - $79,830
  • Systems Administrator II: $73,460 - $91,830
  • Systems Engineer: $97,110 - $121,390
