On-site 5 days/week in Frisco, TX. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity; applicants must be willing and able to work on a W2 basis and convert to full-time employment following the contract duration.
About the role
The Systems Administrator supports, secures, and optimizes enterprise IT operations with a focus on end-user support and endpoint deployment across Mac, Windows, and Linux. Responsibilities include administration, asset management, and collaboration with infrastructure, network, and security teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on desktop and systems administration support for Mac, Windows, and Linux environments.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software across end-user devices and server systems.
- Administer user accounts, access control, and group policies using Active Directory and Azure AD.
- Manage IT assets throughout the lifecycle including procurement, deployment, support, and decommissioning.
- Participate in on-call rotation and perform maintenance activities outside business hours as required.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and security teams to support enterprise IT operations and incident response.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in systems administration or enterprise desktop support.
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, and identity and access management tools.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP, and endpoint security practices.
- Familiarity with IT asset management platforms such as SNIPE, JSM, or JIRA.
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and off-hours maintenance windows.
- Strong documentation, troubleshooting, and customer service skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration with technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) and JAMF.
- Working knowledge of ITIL practices for change, incident, and asset management.
- Experience supporting remote and hybrid environments.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, ITIL, or Cisco.
- PowerShell scripting experience.

Pay
