About the role

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for budget variances and financial performance.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights into financial trends.
  • Evaluate cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with department heads to analyze spending and recommend budget adjustments as needed.
  • Support in financial audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
  • Assist in financial presentations and discussions with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Assess financial risks and opportunities, including scenario analysis and sensitivity modeling.
  • Support in assessing investment opportunities and capital allocation decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role.

Skills

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.g., ERP systems).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.

Knowledge

  • Solid understanding of financial statements, GAAP principles, and financial metrics.
  • Familiarity with financial forecasting, budgeting processes, and variance analysis.
