Systems Administrator

About the role

At West Valley Construction, our Systems Administrator will manage and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, endpoint security, backups, and core business systems. This role installs, configures, updates, and monitors hardware and software to support reliable, secure operations across company locations. The Systems Administrator also troubleshoots escalated issues, supports backup and recovery procedures, collaborates with IT team members to assist end users, enforces security standards, and helps plan future technology improvements that align with organization needs and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, endpoint security, backups, and core business systems
• Install, configure, update, and monitor hardware and software
• Troubleshoot escalated issues and support backup and recovery procedures
• Collaborate with IT team members to assist end users
• Enforce security standards
• Plan future technology improvements aligned with organizational needs and industry best practices
