About the role
The Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and software applications.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update server operating systems and network configurations
- Perform routine backups and disaster recovery procedures
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Implement and manage security protocols to protect company data
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of IT resources
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support or administration
- Proficiency in Windows Server and Linux environments
- Experience with network management tools such as SNMP, NetFlow, and Wireshark
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
Skills
- Scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash)
- Database management (SQL, MySQL)
- System monitoring tools (Prometheus, Nagios)
- Version control systems (Git)

Pay
$75,000 - $85,000 annually
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
