Systems Administrator

Responsibilities

• Oversee the administration, configuration, and maintenance of Windows, Linux, VMs, and supporting software in an air-gapped environment.
• Works with peers to support windows and Linux environments.
• Setup and maintain Windows Server environments to include AD, Group Policy.
• Harden systems against vulnerabilities and threats using automated tools in accordance with DISA STIGs.
• Pro-actively recommend and implement performance and reliability improvements to systems and independently develop solutions to problems.
• Train junior systems administrators in best practices and day-to-day operations.
• Assist in the documentation of knowledge base articles, standard operating procedures, and work instructions as needed.

SKILLS

• Experience with Windows Server.
• Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible.
• Exposure to basic DevOps and software development workflows.
• Familiarity with enterprise management of IT Systems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Required Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret Clearance.
• Active IAT level II Certification.
• 3+ years of Systems Administrator Experience.

Desired Qualifications

• Preferred Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Management Systems, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Proficient with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
