Responsibilities
- Oversee the administration, configuration, and maintenance of Windows, Linux, VMs, and supporting software in an air-gapped environment.
- Works with peers to support windows and Linux environments.
- Setup and maintain Windows Server environments to include AD, Group Policy.
- Harden systems against vulnerabilities and threats using automated tools in accordance with DISA STIGs.
- Pro-actively recommend and implement performance and reliability improvements to systems and independently develop solutions to problems.
- Train junior systems administrators in best practices and day-to-day operations.
- Assist in the documentation of knowledge base articles, standard operating procedures, and work instructions as needed.
SKILLS
- Experience with Windows Server.
- Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible.
- Exposure to basic DevOps and software development workflows.
- Familiarity with enterprise management of IT Systems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Active Top-Secret Clearance.
- Active IAT level II Certification.
- 3+ years of Systems Administrator Experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Management Systems, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Proficient with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
