Systems Administrator
What Impact You’ll Have
Tailored Access, a GRVTY Company is seeking Systems Administrators to support Department of Defense/IC missions at Fort Meade, MD. You will be responsible for Linux Systems Administration while supporting IC missions that are vital to our national security.
What You'll be Owning
- Perform Linux system administration functions.
- Stand up, configure, and maintain Linux servers.
- Maintain standard networking resources (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Monitor and patch/upgrades to servers and VM hardware.
- Affirm and document security compliance controls as applicable.
- Support documentation of non-applicable controls.
- Assist with installation of new or replacement hardware or software.
- Configure and integrate hardware or software with existing networked infrastructure.
- Afford assistance with decommission and/or removal of obsolete, excess, or replaced hardware.
- Document inventory changes.
What You Must Have
- TS/SCI with polygraph (polygraph must be within last 6 years)
- 10 years of systems administration experience OR technical bachelor's degree + 5 years of systems administration experience
- Proficient with Linux.
- Minimum of 3 years Linux system administration experience (within the last 3 years).
- Experience with patching and upgrading Linux servers and networking resources.
- VM experience
- Security + cert
