About the role
Join our IT Services team at one of Europe’s largest and most modern business universities. You’ll work with cutting-edge technology to support teaching, research, and campus operations, ensuring seamless media technology integration across the WU campus.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning, selection, implementation, and operation of central media technology systems.
- Program and integrate central AV media technology systems.
- Actively participate in selecting, implementing, and integrating monitoring tools for central and decentralized system components.
- Conduct performance measurements and monitor central systems and their decentralized components.
- Implement appropriate security measures and mechanisms.
- Maintain system documentation.
Requirements
- Completed technical education (HTL) and/or a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification.
- Practical experience with media technology installations, including network configuration, audio/lighting technology, and video/audio streaming.
- Familiarity with current media technology standards (signal transmission, HDBaseT, DXLink, Dante, QLan).
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C, C++, Java, or Netlinx.
- Experience with media technology management and monitoring software (e.g., AMX RMS, DDM, Zabbix).
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and make responsible decisions.
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills.

Pay
The minimum monthly gross salary is €3,450.30. Relevant prior experience may qualify you for a higher starting salary. Additional attractive social benefits are also available.
