Job Summary
The Survey Center Coordinator provides comprehensive, timely and accurate survey design and administration solutions that support organizational goals and initiatives. Manages end-to-end survey processes including design, data collection, analysis, and interpretation. Oversees survey software systems and related training, troubleshooting and data validation. Partners with and supports key stakeholders’ teams in support of BSWH’s strategy to deliver high-quality, safe care and achieve excellence in accordance with regulatory statues, policies, and procedures.
Essential Functions of the Role
- Provides expertise to sponsors/stakeholders on survey design and survey administration processes that will ensure the highest participation rate and least bias.
- Responsible for management and coordination of survey projects including design, data collection, analysis and interpretation of quantitative and qualitative data and information.
- Builds relationships and maintains dialogue with project teams, sponsors, and stakeholders (e.g., research collaboration/project planning).
- Maintains projects within survey software systems (Qualtrics, SnapXMP, and Press Ganey HX).
- Validates information and oversee data entry procedures, ensuring data and reporting integrity.
- Participates within the Survey Advisory Council.
- Researches, analyzes, and prepares results for presentations.
- Delivers professional presentations to audiences and industry professionals.
- Maintains knowledge of operating policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Keeps abreast of industry trends, best practices, and new software features; finds ways and opportunities to share information.
- Supports quality and patient safety initiatives to improve safety and foster an environment of service excellence through successful interventions, data analysis and development of action plans.
- Develops and disseminates ongoing and ad hoc reports to ensure clinicians, administrators, medical staff committees and corporate teams receive timely and accurate data to meet their needs in ensuring quality care and patient safety within their departments.
- Participates on quality improvement teams as requested by leadership.
- Supports and/or facilitates departmental processes that ensure facility compliance with regulatory body requirements.
Key Success Factors
- Ability to design questionnaires and other methods to collect quantitative data.
- Prominent history of preparing clearly written technical and analytical reports.
- Extensive knowledge of survey platforms (SnapXMP, Qualtrics).
- Ability to analyze data and prepare reports.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve for technical or unpredictable issues effectively and efficiently.
- Attention to detail and high standards of accuracy in all aspects of work (e.g., data validation).
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism and excellent communication skills, with the ability to present results in a clear and actionable format.
- Ability to be highly collaborative, working in partnership with a range of professionals, and have a proven history of delivering projects and their objectives within an agreed period.
- Ability to appropriately prioritize tasks to meet desired deadlines.
- Ability to facilitate and support patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.
- Basic knowledge of patient safety and quality improvement principles and concepts.
- Basic knowledge of Texas Joint Commission and CMS standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate's or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
- Experience: 2 Years of Experience
