Survey Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Field survey crew scheduling and forecasting
• Provide input on safety plans and ensure work activities are compliant
• Ensure compliance with processes and procedures including data download and QC
• Work with the PMs to prepare, monitor and adjust the project quality plan
• Assist with project scoping and estimating
• Ensure adequate field supplies are available
• Audit field tasks
• Coordinate field training sessions
• Conduct performance reviews for field staff

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in surveying
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Party Chief (preferred)
• Licensed Land Surveyor/LSIT (preferred but not required)
• Proven ability to complete all technical aspects of a surveying task
• Operational understanding of GPS & survey equipment
• Good social and communication skills
• Reputation as a trusted and respected member of the surveying community

Qualifications

• The selected candidate must be able to pass background and drug tests
• Have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record

Skills

• Highest proficiency with Trimble Business Center
• Highest proficiency with AutoCad Civil 3D
• Highest proficiency with total stations
• Highest proficiency with Trimble GPS
