System Reliability & Support Specialist Sr. - Production Support

About the role
This is a combined role managing the production health of specific applications and overall support in the Consumer Operations technical team. Responsibilities include understanding the business logic and architecture of assigned applications, scheduling standardized maintenance, generating consistency reports, updating certificates, validating application health during change events, maintaining data security records, and executing business continuity activities.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and support systems and software to ensure stability and compliance with technology standards.
- Perform maintenance, including installation of patches and upgrades, with an understanding of the production environment and the goal of continuous availability.
- Detect, resolve, and/or escalate incidents, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Monitor systems availability, performance, and capacity against baseline metrics and report trends to support stabilization.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of supported systems and applications, transferring knowledge to junior staff.
- Lead application governance, including required attestations, continuity testing, impact analysis, responding to audit/regulatory inquiries, and complying with technology standards.

Qualifications
- Typically requires a university/college degree with 3+ years of relevant/direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired.
- In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
- Preferred skills: Application Development, Architectural Design, Business Management, Customer Solutions, Design, Group Problem Solving, Process Improvements, Release Management, Software Solutions, User Experience (UX) Design.
- Competencies: Analytical Thinking, Application Maintenance, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), Decision Making and Critical Thinking, IT Environment, IT Incident Management, IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Standards, Procedures & Policies, Packaged Application Integration, Software Reliability Management, System Development Life Cycle, Technical Troubleshooting.

Pay
Base Salary: $86,250.00 – $158,125.00. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive-eligible, with payment based on company, business, and/or individual performance.
