About the role

As a Systems Reliability & Support Specialist Sr. within PNC's Site Reliability Center, you will:

  • Monitor, maintain, and support systems and software to ensure stability and compliance with technology standards.
  • Perform maintenance, including installation of patches and upgrades, with an understanding of the production environment and the goal of continuous availability.
  • Detect, resolve, and/or escalate incidents, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Monitor systems availability, performance, and capacity against baseline metrics and report trends to support stabilization.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of supported systems and applications and transfer that knowledge to more junior staff.
  • Lead application governance, including required attestations, continuity testing, impact analysis, responding to audit/regulatory inquiries, and complying with technology standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience (including military service).
  • Typically requires 3+ years of relevant/direct industry experience.
  • Certifications are often desired but not required for this role.
