Role Overview
The Service Line Director of Ambulatory Surgery leads the strategic growth and expansion of ambulatory surgical services across all sites of care. This role drives service line development through evidence-based perioperative best practices, regulatory compliant and scalable operational models, and optimized resource utilization to support increased access, volume growth, and market competitiveness. Accountable for quality, patient safety, physician alignment, financial performance, and operational excellence, the Director partners with medical staff, executive leadership, and operational teams to identify growth opportunities, expand service offerings, and advance sustainable, value-based, patient-centered care.

- The Director brings extensive knowledge of clinical operations, including regulatory standards, best practices, and perioperative protocols, with demonstrated expertise across multiple care settings such as academic trauma centers, community hospitals, and private or employed physician practices.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s Degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Business Administration or related field required.
- Experience: Minimum of five years Director level Perioperative leadership experience required; experience with GPO’s and material handling processes and/or Perioperative Information IT systems preferred.
- Required Licenses/Certifications: Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of California; BLS Certification issued by the American Heart Association; CNOR or CPAN certification.

Pay Range
$76.00 - $126.67
