System Dialysis RN

About the Role

As an RN - Dialysis at Baptist Health, you will plan, organize, implement, and evaluate hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis treatments. You will coordinate, delegate, and provide direct nursing care for patients while working cooperatively with patients, family members, and the patient care team. This role involves general supervision and coordination of dialysis nursing personnel to ensure quality and continuity of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, implement, and evaluate hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis treatments.
• Coordinate, delegate, and provide direct nursing care for patients.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of dialysis nursing personnel.
• Ensure quality and continuity of patient care.
• Work cooperatively with patients, family members, and the patient care team.
• Observe, assess, and record work, safety, and infection control standards.
• Supervise and train employees, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.

Requirements

• Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required.
• Active RN licensure required.
• BLS certification required.
• Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, Chemo, ONCC, etc.) may be required depending on the assigned area.

Schedule

7 days on / 7 days off - First Shift.
