Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to inpatients in need of hemodialysis.
• Supervise care and treatments, conduct patient assessments, and create personalized care plans.
• Address patient concerns and build rewarding relationships with patients by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid in their recovery.
• Educate nursing staff on the care of the hemodialysis patient, hemodialysis equipment, and hemodialysis standards of care.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensures as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• A CRRN certification preferred (if not obtained, we can assist you).
• Six months dialysis nursing experience required.
• A one-year experience in an inpatient hospital setting preferred.
