Dialysis RN

About the role

As a Hemodialysis RN at Encompass Health, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized care to patients facing kidney disease. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team delivering top-tier, compassionate, and tailored care in a state-of-the-art dialysis suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to inpatients in need of hemodialysis.
• Supervise care and treatments, conduct patient assessments, and create personalized care plans.
• Address patient concerns and build rewarding relationships by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs.
• Educate nursing staff on the care of the hemodialysis patient, hemodialysis equipment, and hemodialysis standards of care.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensures as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification and ACLS within 1 year of hire.
• CRRN certification preferred (if not obtained, we can assist).
• 6 months dialysis nursing experience required.
• 1 year of experience in an inpatient hospital setting preferred.
