System Administrator with Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Maintain server systems within SOMTC training enclaves.
• Manage user accounts and access controls.
• Administer and configure virtual machines.
• Support and maintain exercise SharePoint sites.
• Ensure system performance, reliability, and security across assigned environments.

Qualifications

• Achieved Associate degree in an IT-related field or equivalent military training.
• Completed DCWF System Administrator (451) at Basic level (Security+ CE or CySA+).
• Experience with system administration, network and OS hardening.
• Knowledge of file systems (NTFS, FAT, EXT).
• Understanding of IT security, including firewalls, DMZs, and encryption.
• Proficiency in protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).
• Experience with OS command line.
• Skills in system/server diagnostics.
• Experience with virtualization and VM management.
• Experience with performance monitoring and optimization.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Server, VMware (vCenter), and SharePoint administration.
• Experience with Joint/Army Mission Command systems such as TAK, CPCE, and SOF MC.
• Experience with ACAS, AESS, Trellix, Microsoft Defender Endpoint, and other DoD security tools.
