About the role
CGI Federal is seeking a talented and experienced Systems Administrator with expertise in Linux and Containerization to join our team. As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and support of a financial management systems for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Momentum financial management software and related components on Linux-based systems.
- Utilize Containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes to streamline system deployments and enhance scalability.
- Monitor system performance on Linux servers, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary optimizations.
- Perform system upgrades and patches on Linux environments to ensure the systems are up to date with the latest releases.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement system enhancements or customizations leveraging Containerization.
- Conduct system backups and disaster recovery procedures on Linux servers to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference and knowledge sharing.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Momentum software updates, features, and best practices, especially in Linux and Containerization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, database administrators, and project managers, to ensure seamless system integrations and deployments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years' experience in administering software on Linux environments.
- Proficiency in Linux system administration tasks, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes for system deployments and management.
- Experience with database management systems, preferably Oracle.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- TS/SCI with poly required.

- Experience with ERP or Momentum CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $79,600.00 - $194,000.00.
