About the role
We are seeking a Cloud System Administrator to manage and maintain our hybrid server infrastructure, spanning on-premises and AWS cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux (Amazon Linux 2023, RHEL 8/9) and Windows Server (2016/2022) systems.
- Configure and manage core services such as Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy.
- Deploy and maintain security services including McAfee/Trelix, Tenable Nessus, and Bigfix.
- Utilize automation and scripting tools (Salt, Bash, Python, Ansible) to optimize operations.
- Support security posture by addressing IAVAs and ensuring compliance with standards.
- Provide expert troubleshooting for complex issues and collaborate on system solutions.
Requirements
- 14+ years of experience supporting complex systems as a Systems Administrator or Cloud Engineer.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
- Must hold an IAT II certification (e.g., Security+) or obtain within 60 days.
- Experience with AWS, Amazon Linux, RHEL, and Windows Server.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and independent work skills.
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required.
Preferred Skills
- Automation tools like AWS Packer, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
- Security and monitoring tools such as Splunk and Bigfix.
- DevOps tools including GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
- Data flow management with NiFi and Windows services expertise.
- Security compliance and IAVA remediation experience.
