About the role
SAIC is seeking a System Administrator to support the Ground Intelligence Support Activity (GISA) at Fort Gordon, GA. The role involves providing critical support in a 24/7 service environment with a rotating-shift schedule.
Responsibilities
- Serve as part of a support team responding to issues defined by GISA.
- Provide support for SAN integration, configuration, and Level I/II sustainment of GISA Counter-Intelligence (CI).
- Perform system administration for Windows and Linux systems, including application expertise on emerging systems.
- Support underlying system architecture management applications such as VMWare Virtual Center and other platform tools for configuration, monitoring, and documentation.
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of the Virtual Environment VM 8.03 for four (4) networks, and maintain VDI functionality.
- Assist in TTC and TGS integration and maintenance for Operational Ground Station (OGS) workstations.
- Maintain Active Directory (AD) for SIPR, JWICS, and NSA; provide service and maintenance for user accounts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years or more of experience; Master’s degree and three (3) years or more of experience; or PhD with 0 years of related experience.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI-Polygraph (US Citizenship required).
- DoD 8140 IAT Level II Certification (e.g., Security+).
- Computing Environment Certification (e.g., Linux+, Server+, Red Hat, Microsoft Windows Server, etc.).
