About the Role
Accountable for the configuration, maintenance, and operation of the company's critical applications/systems, such as the core processor or lending systems. Recommends and researches enhancements to the system's key components. Ensures that applications and related functions are updated to meet organizational needs.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components of computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance and user accessibility.
- Provide technical support to users, troubleshoot issues, and assist in resolving problems related to software, hardware, and network systems.
- Monitor network performance, manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights, and implement security measures to protect systems from unauthorized access.
- Document system configurations, changes, and procedures to maintain an accurate record of the technology environment and assist in compliance with IT policies.
- Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection and disaster recovery.
- Work closely with senior system administrators and IT teams to understand and implement new technologies or troubleshoot complex problems.
- Provide Level 2 support for Azure, Intune-managed devices, and general IT issues.
- Handle confidential data with discretion and follow security best practices.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
- Work outside of scheduled hours to respond to technology issues as required.
Requirements
- Two to five years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.
- A college degree.
Skills
- A significant level of trust and diplomacy to act as an effective subject matter expert.
- Ability to engage in in-depth dialogues, conversations, and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports, and outside vendors on sensitive and/or highly confidential matters.
- Strong communication skills to motivate, influence, educate, and/or advise others on matters of significance.

Physical Requirements
- Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.
- Capable of climbing/descending stairs in emergency situations.
- Operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator.
- Routinely perform work on a computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary.
- Work extended hours whenever required or requested by management.
- Capable of travel by automobile (as driver and passenger), commercial airlines, rental vehicles, and public transportation, and able to lodge in public facilities.
- Capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance.
Working Conditions
- Routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled private offices with minimal noise.
