System Administrator 3

About the role

The System Administrator 3 position is responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure. This includes overseeing server operations, network administration, and ensuring data security.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain servers and network infrastructure
• Implement and monitor security protocols to protect company data
• Provide technical support to end-users and troubleshoot issues
• Perform routine backups and disaster recovery procedures
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless IT operations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in system administration
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
• Knowledge of network architecture and design
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Qualifications

• CCNA certification
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, and Python
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Skills

• Technical proficiency in server management tools (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
• Experience with virtualization technologies
• Understanding of ITIL service management principles
• Knowledge of database management systems (SQL, Oracle)

Pay

$80,000 - $90,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
