Syst Communications Technology Strategist

Position Summary

This role is responsible for developing and executing strategic, internal communications across the health system to effectively engage team members, providers, and key audiences. The individual will lead the creation and management of system-wide communication channels—including web portals, digital newsletters, social media, video content, events, and more—ensuring consistent, on-brand messaging.

Key responsibilities

• Writing, editing, publishing, and distributing communications across multiple platforms

• Analyzing performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness

• Recommending continuous improvements to communication strategies

• Serving as a trusted advisor on communications best practices and brand alignment

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience: Required - 7+ years of communications experience within a healthcare provider, corporate environment, or agency

• Preferred - 3+ years working with healthcare subject matter and/or content management platforms

• Skills: Strong writing and copy editing abilities

• Experience with SharePoint required

• Education: Required - Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

• PREFERRED - Master’s degree in a related field
