Transaction Management supports multiple aspects of the lending lifecycle, including loan closing and servicing coordination, complex client onboarding, data management, and quality control. The team oversees the operational closing and servicing of all loan transactions to ensure internal and external requirements are met.

Responsibilities

  • Provide training and support to transaction management staff and business constituents.
  • Partner with originating and coverage business lines, credit risk, operations, legal, and other teams to enable strategic goals.
  • Ensure data quality, controls, and processes meet internal policies and regulatory requirements through staff management.
  • Define and implement operational metrics and risk/control reviews with lines of business, transaction management, and loan operations for end-to-end transparency.
  • Improve processes, controls, and efficiencies within the group and across the loan lifecycle.
  • Lead projects to enhance performance and efficiency.
  • Actively manage and maintain a deal closing pipeline of loan transactions.
  • Coordinate and close loan transactions/lifecycle events, capture data, store documentation, troubleshoot issues, and perform quality control.
  • Assess risk in business decisions, prioritizing the firm’s reputation, compliance with laws/regulations, and ethical judgment.

Requirements

  • 6–10 years of experience.
  • Experience with Loan IQ, transaction capture tools, and similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines, manage priorities, and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Quantitative skills with high proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft programs.
  • Familiarity with Tableau or other visualization tools.
  • Keen attention to detail and strong analytical/problem-solving abilities.
  • Client relationship and solution-oriented skills.

Additional Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of wholesale loan products (syndicated/bilateral), including legal documentation, loan mechanics, deal structure, and funds flows.
  • Experience working with clients under time constraints to facilitate transactions.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with senior management and business constituents in a steering capacity.
  • Critical decision-making skills, including problem identification, escalation, and solution proposal.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with experience following up with stakeholders.
  • Comprehensive understanding of corporate and regulatory policies related to lending.
  • Deep knowledge of operational processes supporting wholesale lending.
  • Focus on achieving/exceeding KPI-driven operating standards.
  • Ability to adapt in an environment with frequently changing priorities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.

Pay

Full-time salary range: $114,720.00 – $172,080.00. Eligible employees may also receive discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
