About the role
This position supports FNB’s Agent and investor portfolio by processing daily loan transactions, including all loan closing activities, advances, payments, fees, wires, rate resets, rollovers, notifications, reconcilement, and research. The role ensures efficient execution while collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to facilitate syndicated transactions. The incumbent maintains accurate account information, documentation, and compliance with regulatory requirements while managing financial and reputational risk.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the end-to-end syndicated loan process, including deal review, structure for operational soundness and regulatory compliance, document review and input, administrative details, KYC, OFAC, and beneficial ownership (BO).
- Work with internal partners, customers, investors, and outside counsel to facilitate and streamline loan closing, uploading of executed documents, oversee initial funding, and loan booking into the core system.
- Ensure all information sent to investor banks accurately reflects pro-rata shares.
- Use expertise with loan documentation and apply it within the core system while maintaining reconciled and properly stored electronic information for FNB agented accounts.
- Support daily syndicated loan transactions for the FNB Agent portfolio, including advances, payments, wires, rollovers, rate resets, letters of credit (L/C’s), FX, and SWAPs based on established procedures and defined timelines.
- Ensure all functions meet compliance requirements, internal and external customer satisfaction, and timely recording of financial entries.
- Support complex investor transactions by promptly and accurately acting on required information received from agent banks.
- Maintain reconciled and properly stored electronic information for FNB participated accounts.
- Foster relationships with syndicate members, agent banks, and internal partners through effective communication.
- Operate in a fast-paced, manual environment with varying levels of complexity while promoting peer collaboration.
- Provide support, training, and assistance to junior team members to contribute to their professional development.
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.
- Serve as a risk manager by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing, and monitoring daily risks as required by F.N.B. Corporation’s risk management program.
- Adhere to regulatory laws and guidelines to achieve superior compliance levels.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 5 years of job-related experience.
