Syndicate Data Analyst

BNP Paribas’ Syndicate Desk is a global platform responsible for structuring, marketing, and distributing all primary fixed income transactions. The desk operates across three product verticals: Asset Finance & Securitization, High Grade Finance, and Leveraged Finance, acting as a key contact point between private markets (Banking, Origination) and public markets (investors, sales, trading, research).

Responsibilities

• Handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
• Attend daily meetings with origination and sales & trading teams
• Author and maintain templates for presentations, including:
  • Weekly market updates
  • BNP GM Platform slides
  • Bond and loan credentials
  • Investor lists
• Monitor public news reports for accuracy of deal announcements
• Interact with news sources
• Post league table submissions
• Transaction execution and processing, including:
  • Book and settle trades
  • Manage P&L reports
• Liaise with agency & operations teams to ensure settlement integrity
• Ensure all regulatory requirements are satisfied
• Maintain IssueMaster and Debt Domain sites
• Update and manage databases & libraries
• Support new issue transactions for bonds & loans
• Analyze relative value comparables across industry sectors and for acquisition transactions
• Manage investor allocations
• Prepare offering memorandum and lender presentations
• Review rating agency reports

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of fixed income markets is a plus

Pay

The expected starting salary range for this position is between $70,000 to $75,000 annually. The actual salary may vary based on relevant skills, experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
