Data Analyst

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to support and ensure the quality, accuracy, and reliability of Spectrum Reach data. The ideal candidate will investigate and resolve data-related issues reported by data partners, applications, and other data consumers. The candidate will also serve as a bridge between business and technical teams, requiring strong technical, analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Knowledge of AI tools and technologies to improve productivity and velocity is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve data-related issues reported by data partners, applications, and other data consumers
• Serve as a bridge between business and technical teams
• Perform data analysis, validation, and quality assessment
• Write complex and ad hoc SQL queries
• Identify data issues, determine root causes, and recommend solutions
• Collaborate effectively with technical and business teams

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with SQL, including:
  • Writing complex and ad hoc SQL queries
  • Data analysis
  • Data validation
  • Data quality assessment
• 5+ years of experience working in an enterprise environment
• 3-5 years of programming experience, preferably with Python
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to investigate and resolve complex problems
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake
• Strong experience with Python
• Experience with Unix/Linux Shell Scripting
• Experience with ETL processes and data pipelines
• Experience with Data Warehousing
• Experience with Data Quality and Data Validation
• Familiarity with AI-assisted tools for improving analysis, troubleshooting, and productivity
