Summary
The position is part of the Transformative Digital Capabilities organization, supporting the Holistic Lab Execution Environment product suite. The role involves enabling digital transformation in Process Development laboratories by supporting requirements definition, backlog readiness, testing, validation, documentation, and analytics enablement.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders, instrument owners, Functional Area Leads, IDA engineers, Reference Data teams, and software vendors to deliver HLEE and IDA capabilities.
- Translate laboratory and data analytics needs into clear, detailed, and testable business and functional requirements.
- Collaborate with the HLEE Product owner in requirements gathering, documentation, backlog refinement, prioritization, and roadmap planning.
- Manage the backlog, clarify priorities, track dependencies, and provide visibility into onboarding and delivery progress.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to manage instrument-related reference data.
- Create dashboards and reporting views using tools such as Databricks, Spotfire, Tableau, or equivalent visualization platforms.
- Use SQL queries and database skills to explore, validate, analyze, and summarize data.
- Create, maintain, and validate test scripts based on approved requirements and expected business outcomes.
- Execute test scripts and support end-to-end validation of workflows.
- Document test results, defects, validation evidence, key decisions, and business approvals.
- Support UAT, defect triage, issue resolution, business validation, and release readiness activities.
- Use JIRA or similar tools for requirements tracking, backlog management, and issue tracking.
- Use ALM or equivalent testing and validation tools for documenting test execution and validation evidence.
- Support continuous improvement of business analysis, testing, validation, analytics, documentation, and delivery practices.
- Communicate delivery progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and data insights clearly across stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in a related field, OR Associate's degree and 10 years of experience in a related field, OR High school diploma / GED and 12 years of experience in a related field.
- Experience supporting Process Development laboratory environments.
- Experience with data analytics, scientific data workflows, data pipelines, and dashboard delivery.
- Experience with Databricks, Spotfire, Tableau, SQL databases, or related analytics platforms is a plus.
- Familiarity with ELN, LIMS, Sample Management, and Instrument data acquisition.
- Working knowledge of JIRA for requirements, backlog, issue, and defect tracking.
- Experience with ALM or equivalent testing and validation tools.
Skills
- Prior experience working with pharmaceutical or biotechnology laboratory instruments.
- Science background in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Experience working in a regulated or quality-focused environment.
Pay
$40.00 - $42.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
