Sworn Police Officer - Government Facility
About the role
Allied Universal® is seeking currently sworn, non-retired Police Officers to join their Company Police Force in North Carolina. This position offers a chance to work with a highly trained, state-compliant private police agency that values professionalism, advanced training, and public safety.
Responsibilities
- Patrols hospital campus, checks property, conducts room searches, maintains order and public safety
- Issues traffic and parking citations; apprehends, questions, and arrests suspects
- Captures and preserves evidence; conducts investigations; responds to and assists in all medical emergencies
- Assists in conducting fire drills and evacuating buildings; provides security escorts for personnel; chauffeurs division heads and visitors as requested
- Attends required periodic training sessions and seminars; maintains required level of proficiency in the use of firearms
- Performs other duties as required to meet the client's needs
Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- Active police officer not retired
- High School Diploma or GED
- Police ID, VPEC, and Firearm certification
- North Carolina Basic Law Enforcement certification required
- Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations
- Maintain required level of proficiency in the use of firearms
