Responsibilities

• Promptly answer incoming internal and external calls, providing clear information and routing callers to the right department or individual.
• Swiftly announce emergency codes, drills, and disaster management protocols according to established hospital procedures.
• Send pages and alerts to contact on-call physicians, medical personnel, and emergency response teams.
• Keep desk directories, staff contact lists, physician on-call schedules, and reference guides continuously up to date.
• Follow all communication protocols, confidentiality guidelines, and safety procedures to keep health system operations running smoothly.

Requirements

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
