Switchboard Operator

About the role

As a Switchboard Operator at Sodexo, you are adaptable team players and message multitaskers. Efficiency and calm in hectic environments is critical to being a support to your team and clients. You may work in any type of location on client premises. This individual, often the initial contact for the facility or department.

Responsibilities

• Operate a telephone console or switchboard to route incoming calls to the appropriate party.
• Works with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution.
• May perform additional clerical duties.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• Successful candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment for all.

Schedule

• Afternoon/evenings - varying days, and some weekends/holidays. More details will be provided during the interview process.

Pay

$21.00 per hour
