Description
The Resident of North Ridge and Rehab has a rich history of providing quality care to seniors since 1966. We are a specialized senior health care community offering a continuum of services including Senior Apartments, Assisted Living, Adult Day Program, Complex/Transitional Rehab Care, Long Term Care, and secured areas for those with memory impairment. Our focus is on recognizing and meeting the unique needs of each individual.
Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Receptionist experience preferred
- Pleasant speaking voice
- Confident performance under stress
- Type 35 wpm with good spelling and proofreading skills
- Thorough knowledge of facility operation and layout
- Confidentiality to comply with HIPAA regulations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Computer knowledge preferred
Duties
- Operate main telephone systems including answering calls, transferring calls, overhead paging, and operating two-way radio and radio paging system
- Maintain list of current residents and employees and emergency contact information
- Follow established procedures in response to emergency conditions
- Monitor security monitors and access control systems
- Monitor main entrances
- Assist with guest meal tickets, sell stamps, and assist residents as needed
