Swiss machinist (3rd shift)

About the role

This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Responsibilities

• Configure, set up, and operate CNC Swiss machines to meet tight tolerances and surface-finish requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, operation drawings, and apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing principles.
• Utilize Mitsubishi controls to load, adjust, and execute machining programs.
• Perform in-process and final inspections using precision gauges and measurement instruments.
• Support production through tooling changes, machine adjustments, and troubleshooting activities.
• Document work accurately, follow established procedures, and collaborate across the team to maintain smooth operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental goals.

  Requirements

  • 3–5 years setting up and operating Swiss CNC lathes (required) and/or Citizen machines.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with GD&T, CNC tooling, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Mitsubishi controls; ability to read and edit programs (G-code/M-code).
  • High school diploma or GED; strong math and blueprint-reading skills.
  • Effective communicator who follows written and verbal directions, team contributor.
  • ITAR Registered and able to meet applicable compliance requirements.

    Qualifications

    • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
    • Experience: 3–5 years setting up and operating Swiss CNC lathes (required) and/or Citizen machines.
    • Skills: Proficiency with GD&T, CNC tooling, and troubleshooting; experience with Mitsubishi controls; ability to read and edit programs (G-code/M-code); strong math and blueprint-reading skills; effective communication; ITAR Registered and compliance knowledge.

    Benefits

    • Pay Range: $32 - $38 per hour (includes shift differential) + $2,000 Hiring Bonus.
