Swiss Machinist-3rd shift

About the role

As a Swiss Set Up/Operator at Regal Rexnord Cleveland, you will be responsible for set up and operations of the Swiss department and perform intricate and close tolerance machining of small, advanced precision components according to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in the setup and operation of all CNC Swiss equipment.
• Proficient in blueprint or op drawing interpretation, geometric tolerancing, and the mathematics required to perform advanced CNC operations.
• Experience with Mitsubishi controls.
• Use a wide variety of measuring devices to inspect components produced.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of experience in Swiss CNC Lathe Setup & Operate (Required).
• Ability to interpret and understand verbal and written directions.
• Ability to interact in a team environment to complete a variety of tasks.
• ITAR Registered.

Physical Demand and Work Environment

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and stand 100% of the day. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal to moderate.
