Sr Swiss Machinist - 3rd Shift

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Utilize mills, lathes, mill-turns, and Swiss machines to produce close-tolerance parts for medical products.
• Operate advanced multi-axis CNC equipment, tools, and accessories for the fabrication and cutting of materials to process component parts.
• Maintain close tolerance dimensions while producing parts at the rates established for a given operation.
• Perform verification/validation of new set-up programs for new product or pre-production parts.
• Perform in-process and first piece inspection.
• Complete offset adjustments to multi-axis equipment to ensure product conforms to strict tolerance.
• Provide training and technical training to less experienced employees.

Work Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience operating advanced CNC production equipment, including Swiss machines, lathe with live tooling, and mills.
• Successful completion of the Senior Machinist Assessment.
• Currently employed as a CONMED CNC Sr Machinist.

Other Attributes

• Ability to produce parts at maximum rates with zero defects.
• Ability to optimize processes through continuous improvement efforts.
• Must be able to read, understand, and interpret G and M codes.
