Swiss CNC Machine Set Up Operator with Programming

About the Role

PIVOT POINT INC., a manufacturer of non-threaded fasteners located in Hustisford, WI, is seeking a qualified Full Time 1st Shift CNC Set-Up Operator/Programmer due to an expected retirement.

Schedule

Monday through Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machining centers and lathes, including Swiss Tsugami and Doosan.
• Create and edit CNC programs from blueprints.
• Produce parts within specifications and inspect them using required inspection equipment.
• Set up CNC lathes: set tools, install/adjust work holding, determine work coordinates.
• Assist and train other operators and work closely with engineering and production manager.
• Cross-train to learn to set up and operate additional machinery.
• Produce samples utilizing various machines throughout the facility.
• Create CNC programs from scratch using PartMaker, FeatureCam, or similar programs (ideal).

Requirements

• Experience in metal manufacturing required.
• Strong attention to detail and knowledge of producing quality parts with close tolerances.
• Capability of creating CNC programs from scratch is ideal.
• Solid, long-term, consistent work history.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug testing.
