SWING shift - Medication Technician

What You’ll Do

• Administers or assists residents in self-administering medications and treatments
• Makes measures vital signs and weight, and performs other health services tasks
• Communicates with physicians, implements physician orders, reports, and documents pertinent information
• Works closely with home health, hospice, and pharmacy services
• Works as a team throughout departments
• Acts as a mentor and lead for co-workers, shift lead
• Functions as the first point of contact for floor training

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age
• Must have prior experience in Senior Care as a Med Tech, Caregiver, or similar
• Must have knowledge of medical terminology
