Wage Range
The wage range for this position is $12.44 - $15.55/hr., depending on qualifications and experience, with potential to increase to $20+/hr. for private lesson instruction once certified.

Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 16.
- Certifications: CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, Basic First Aid certification.
- YMCA Swim Instructor Certification, American Red Cross WSI or equivalent.
- Ability to maintain certification-level of physical and mental readiness.
- Must demonstrate swim instructor skills in accordance with YMCA standards.
Physical Demands
- Ability to instruct and observe participants in proper stroke techniques.
- Ability to lift equipment and to lift a small to average size child.
