Swim Instructor / Lifeguard

Schedule

• Hours: 5–40 hours per week
• Days: Varies; open Monday through Sunday — both AM and PM shifts available

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming skills in accordance with Swimtastic® curriculum in a fun, positive manner
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts
• Structure class time appropriately to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills
• Maintain proper equipment and time organization to ensure timely class start times
• Provide customers with weekly, individualized feedback on swimmers

Requirements

• Previous swim instruction experience preferred, but not required
• Loving kids and being reliable with the ability to swim is an absolute necessity
• Willing to certify in CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer and infants
• Training in the Swimtastic® curriculum will be provided

Compensation

$15.00 – $18.00 per hour
