About the role
The role of Swim Instructor at The Alaska Club is a fun and dynamic position that offers a great team environment and flexible work schedule. Swim Instructors provide leadership and instruction to swimmers of all ages in our swim lesson programs.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and instruction to swimmers of all ages in our swim lesson programs.
- Develop leadership skills.
- Provide life-saving skills to our community.
- Work with children.
- Support fellow instructors and cooperate as a team.
- Stand and move in pool to facilitate lessons.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Must be able to swim free-style/crawl stroke.
- Must have First Aid & CPR certification.
- Teaching experience is preferred.
- Preferred weekend availability.
