About the role

Coppermine Health & Fitness is seeking a Summer Aquatics Director to lead our aquatic programs in Baltimore, Maryland. The ideal candidate will have experience in swim instruction and lifeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Lead swim lessons and water safety classes for all ages
• Oversee daily operations of the pool including lifeguarding and cleaning
• Develop and implement aquatic programming based on participant needs
• Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in recreation, education, or related field
• Valid lifeguard certification
• Experience teaching swimming and water safety
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings

Skills

• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
